We got married on July 15, 2010. August of the same year I decided I wanted a baby and I would do anything to have one. September I quit birth control and November we found out we were pregnant!! at 36 weeks along I delivered my baby girl. Were we surprised to find out she had feeding issues. Milk Soy Protein Intolerance (MSPI) and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). At three weeks old she developed a sensitivity to Disposable diapers and at five weeks old she started dropping percentiles in weight. We have since with lots of medication been able to control her weight and hold her at a tiny 25th percentile. Now we cloth diaper. At another time I will go into detail about those first few traumatizing months.
When our daughter was just 5 months old we decided to buy our first home. I envisioned my first home to be huge and NEW!! How wrong was I when we decided to buy my husbands childhood home which was in barely livable condition. And instead of fixing it then moving in we just jumped in. Construction with a little one is tons of fun.
